Terms of Usage:
I realize my legal ability to enforce these terms is extremely limited if not nonexistent. Which is why there is a public blacklist. These terms were created to be as relaxed and as simple as possible. I believe heavy regulation kills the creativity and fun of a fictional species. However, I have limits to what I am comfortable with and will ask for these limits to be respected. I do not want to publicly blacklist anybody, however, I will if I believe violations of these terms are intentional.
- Adhere to the species guide.
- Don't create characters that conflict with or change the lore.
- Gore and sexual content are permitted if you're 18 or over, just be sure to tag it appropriately on the sites you post it to. No underage content, and no content involving feral animals.
- Do not use Divine Spiritseer characters as a mouthpiece for hateful, prejudiced, bigoted messages. This is not intended to limit narrative freedom, I realize hateful characters can be useful plot devices and worldbuilding elements in storytelling. The issue is when the audience can't tell if a bigoted Spiritseer is intended to be just a fictional character, or if the writer actually endorses those hateful messages.
- Credit me for the creation of the species.
- Getting commissions of your characters is perfectly fine and does not need to be approved.
- Ask permission before you sell Divine Spiritseer characters or adoptables. If approved, price fairly. This species is a labor of love that has been in development for over five years, and I do not approve of other people making heavy profit from my years of work.
